She might be a big fashion icon for millions, but when it comes to Keira Knightleys own style influences, the actress admits that some of them are totally bizarre. The 22-year-old stems her inspiration from the reigning queens of the worst dressed lists, actress Helena Bonham Carter and batty Icelandic singer Bjork. I don’t think I’m confident enough yet to be used to being in the limelight because of my style, The Daily Express quoted her, as saying. But I loved the swan dress Bjork wore to the 2001 Oscars [below]. Id love to have the courage to do the same, she added. And of Bonham Carter, who was once described as resembling a dusty Victorian orphan rescued from a chimney, she adds: Helena wears whatever she wants and looks amazing. But Keira might want to think twice before following in their footsteps as she admits: Ive become phobic of the red carpet because all I can think is Im going to be in the worst dressed list tomorrow.

The sexy siblings will set the already-rising temperature soaring with their gyrations in a hot and sizzling item number. For the first time, Malaika Arora and young sister Amrita Arora will come together on the big screen for a song in director Sanjay Gadhavi’s action thriller Kidnap . Moreover, the song, composed by Pritam , will have the two sisters pitted against each other, dancing to outshine each other. Malaika describes the song as “hot, sexy and energetic.” The movie’s leading star Sanjay Dutt will also be part of this special number which will be reportedly shot in Filmistan from March 9 to 13. Neither of the Arora sisters is feeling insecure about sharing the screen space together. Though comparisons will be inevitable, the sexy sisters are looking forward to put their best foot forward under the guidance of choreographer Remo. Malaika is more gorgeous of the two sisters, but Amrita is very good at dancing. And before the shooting of the song, Malaika and Amrita are feeling more camaraderie than competition.

Olsen Twins To Write Fashion Book March 3, 2008

Actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are adding authors to their list of talents – the twins are releasing a coffee table book about their fashion inspirations. The 21-year-old siblings are penning a text entitled Influence, which will detail their favourite style icons and the people behind them, including shoe designer Christian Louboutin, actress Lauren Hutton, photographer Terry Richardson and writer Bob Colacello. In a statement, Ashley says the book will feature “the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know – the ones who helped pave the way for us and our generation”. Mary-Kate adds: “Ashley and I interviewed the people who have inspired us, with the hope that they will inspire and teach others.”

Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard is facing criticism after footage of her apparently questioning the 9/11 attacks surfaced on the internet. In a interview she reportedly gave a year ago, the star is shown commenting on the events of 11 September 2001. “I think we’re lied to about a number of things,” the Paris-born 32-year-old is seen saying in French. Cotillard’s best actress Oscar was one of several awards she won for playing singer Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. She is due to begin filming gangster movie Public Enemies with actor Johnny Depp shortly. In the interview, given to French TV show Paris Premiere, Cotillard appears to suggest the attacks on the World Trade Center were staged to avoid the expense of refurbishing them. “We see other towers of the same kind being hit by planes, are they burned?” she asks. “There was a tower, I believe it was in Spain, which burned for 24 hours. “It never collapsed. None of these towers collapsed. And there [in New York], in a few minutes, the whole thing collapsed.” The Twin Towers, she claims, were a “money sucker” that would have cost much more to modernise than to destroy. The actress goes on to cast doubt on the Moon landing of 1969. “Did a man really walk on the moon?” she asks. “I saw plenty of documentaries on it and I really wondered. Hip-hop singer Lil’ Romeo has denied he is dating pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears – insisting the actress is determined to marry the father of her baby. The rap star, 18, admitted to having a close friendship with Spears but insists he is not the father of her child as they were never romantically involved. Spears stunned the world when she announced last year (Dec07) she is expecting a baby with boyfriend Casey Aldridge, and Lil’ Romeo is convinced the couple is planning on marriage after the baby is born. He tells British newspaper the Daily Star, “The child is definitely not mine! No way! She and Casey are getting married and that’s the end of it.”

Dancing On Ice star Suzanne Shaw has chipped a bone in her ankle. The injury – which happened when she landed awkwardly in rehearsals – comes as the contest is really hotting up and will be a big disappointment for her. Last week, the singer knocked actor Chris Fountain from the top of the leader board. It’s another blow for Suzanne, who first hurt her ankle when trampolining as part of her practice routine a few weeks ago. Suzanne will now have intensive treatment on the injury. A Dancing On Ice spokeswoman said: “We have a responsibility to ensure that all the celebrities are fit to perform. “Suzanne will only take to the ice if the physio gives her the go-ahead before the show.”
