Mary-Kate Olsen has spoken for the first time about her battle with anorexia.
The former child star, who rose to fame alongside twin sister Ashley, checked into rehab last year in an attempt to overcome her eating disorder.
Despite completing six weeks inside a treatment facility, Mary-Kate still cuts a slight figure, although she has returned to work.
She said: “There have definitely been times in my life when I just turned to people and said, ‘I’m done – this is too much for me. This is too over-whelming.’”
The actress returns to the big screen this year alongside Sir Ben Kingsley with The Wackness, which featured at the Sundance Film Festival.
